I found this LiveLessons extremely productive in implementing custom webparts and features in SharePoint.  After watching the DVD lessons I was able to resolve in a matter of minutes an issue that I had spent hours previously researching without any success.  Scot Hillier not only demonstrates how to create these different common solutions by also explains the implementation, methodologies and practices behind these different solutions.  I found this video series easy to follow and understand with each lesson divided into two segments. The first segment is a demonstration and overview of the completed feature. The second segment consists of the development and implementation of the feature.  Scot’s Sharepoint Developer Modifications for Visual Studio are a set of extremely useful tools for automating common development tasks needed to deploy a custom Sharepoint solution. I am looking forward to more LiveLessons video instruction in the future.
